CARRERA VELENO

With the arrival of composite materials originally developed by the aero-space industries, the Podium Company has expanded its corporate structure with a department dedicated to implementing the working technology of carbon fibre, with the aim of reducing high production costs.

The Veleno frame was born in this context: a product whose materials and design are of far higher quality than the retail price would suggest, thanks to the synergy of avant-garde production processes.
The formation of the monocoque front-end is created directly in a press using 65% highly-resistant T700sc carbon fibre, 25% “High Modulus” M30J 3K carbon weave and 10% “High Strength” 60T carbon fibre. The manufacturing process is concluded with the application of the rear-end, bonded and laminated with “Laminated Carbon” technology.

The result is a light competitive frame with good torsional stiffness, immediate mechanical response thanks to a reduced deformation of the monococque, total absence of resonance throughout the frame at high speeds, and a resulting sensation of stability during the ride.
