The Colnago CX-1 is one of the top performing monocoque frames from Colnago. The front triangle is a monocoque structure where the seat and chain stays are lugged to the frame, this helps improve the handling of the CX-1 as well as its rigidity.

The ride of the CX-1 is fast, aggressive especially on climbs and sprints where you will feel the CX-1 performing with no loss of power transfer or stability at high speeds.  The special shapes of the top and down tubes of the CX-1  increases the lateral stiffness... so no loss of power is experienced.

The lugged seat and chain stays are designed to give the rider maximum control and power transfer during a descent, sprint, climb and braking.
