On September 6^th  2010 I sent an email and it started with “as I sit here I don’t know what to say”.

Months on and I find myself sadly in the same situation. I want to firstly say to you all, a sincere thank you for the overwhelming messages, tweets, calls emails etc. All the crew escaped with no injuries.

The Colnago CX-1 is one of the top performing monocoque frames from Colnago. The front triangle is a monocoque structure where the seat and chain stays are lugged to the frame, this helps improve the handling of the CX-1 as well as its rigidity.

Colnago’s new monocoque frame takes the technical advances seen in the highly popular CX-1 to a higher level. The new lamination technology and materials used in the manufacture of the M10 make it lighter than the CX-1 and stiffer laterally thanks to a bigger bottom bracket, but with a little more vertical absorption to provide more comfort without in any way sacrificing performance.

The CLX 2.0 has the same Colnago features as the top-of-the-range carbon frames.
