Ok,  I have to say that the amazing weather has really got me back in biking mood. I went for a ride today and the roads were full of bike riders all in great spirits. Such a true pleasure to see my wee sport still thriving under what have been a few hard months.

We are still working from home. We are working shorter hours than normal sorry. I have many meetings and stock to collect from various warehouses that we are using round the city, so the shorter hours gives me and the crew time to collect stuff and or do what’s needed to ensure we reopen properly in the spring.  So please note, 11-4 Monday to Friday. The only reason, I am reiterating this is because if you travel and hour to get here and I am not home, then you’ll be gutted. So please, note it down, 11-4 Monday to Friday. If you need to come earlier or later, just call us on 3663773 to ensure we will be here. We are totally flexible!

Last weekend, 2 great new customers came and ordered brand new CARRERA bikes. P said  “I am bringing my pencil sharpener”. I have heard all this before... Sharpen ya pencil, get ya sharpener out....BUT, P wins the follow through prize of the year! He brought a bright shiny new red pencil sharpener! TOO FUNNY! I pulled out the earthquake card, so it made zero difference to the price! I just gave him a man hug and said “it’s only money mate”.  Just love the clients we have. You have made the last few months bearable.... a really big heartfelt THANKYOU to you all! Bloody amazing all of you!

I also want to take this chance to say thanks to my team. It’s unreal to have such loved and wonderful people working with me. We are a great crew, passionate beyond belief and we are totally committed to come back and continue to just blow you all away. We understand the convenience isn’t there like it was, but please continue to make the effort. I am committed 110% to find the most sensational and unique location that will be the talk of the NZ bike industry. Our new location might very well be the most “out there” that has been seen in NZ. I am also not stopping the support and momentum that we give to the cycling community inc The elite nationals, 5 passes, cartride foundation. www.cartride.co.nz , and many more grass roots events.
